HOW TO CONVERT CGPA TO PERCENTAGE????

   Well this is one of the question arises in every ENGINEERING students who comes under 2008 regulation i.e., grade system 2012 passouts.Many say a formula to convert your CGPA to PERCENTAGE which is given below

   CGPA*10-7.5= YOUR %

     But this is not the correct way for CHENNAI ANNA UNIVERSITY because if a person scores his full grade i.e., 10 in all the sub and semester he doesnt land up with 100 % 10*10-7.5=92.5% so this is not the correct way.

    The correct way to convert is just by multiplying with 10 i.e, CGPA*10= YOUR %    The above mentioned formula is for other universities whose TOTAL CGPA varies and also i have attached a proof while registering with TCS RECRUITMENT on entering the ANNA UNIVERSITY as our UNIVERSITY it automatically converts our CGPA TO PERCENTAGE just by multiplying by 10.so NO CONFUSION GREAT CONVERSION just multiply with 10 BE HAPPY...

The eighth semester Statement of Grades, Consolidated Statement of Grades 

and Provisional Certificates for the students of B.E./B.Tech. programmes, who were

under the Anna University, Chennai before merger,  whose results declared on 

27-06-2012, have been despatched to the respective colleges. The students are

advised to contact the Principal of the respective colleges and collect their certificate

and Grade Sheets. 

The eighth semester Statement of Grades, Consolidated Statement of Grades

and Provisional Certificates for the students of B.E./B.Tech. programmes coming under

the erstwhile Anna Universities of Technology,  whose results have already been

declared on 27-06-2012, are under preparation and the same will be despatched soon.

The certificates will be despatched to the respective colleges in another 10 days of time. 

The students those who are in need of the certificate and grade sheets for

the purpose of higher studies and employment and are urgently required can

collect the same from the office of the Controller of Examinations duly bringing

the authorization letter from the Principal of the respective colleges. 

The results of the B.E./B.Tech. of the remaining students will be published on or

before 15-08-2012 at http://result.annauniv.edu

PROBLEMS DUE TO FINAL YEAR RESULTS DELAY

Anna University which is one of the famous University of the world is now under the curse of students.The University has not released the results of the FINAL YEAR STUDENTS i.e., for 8th semester (arrear).As the Final year students are in urge of searching for a job and placing in a company these delay in results will surely affect the students in their carrier.As it already took 2 months after finishing exams they are waiting for the results.


Many deemed universities as already finished their FINAL YEAR process those students will surely occupy the opportunities before the Anna University students try for it.The reason that is told for delay in the result is due to RE-EXAM in the EDC on 31-07-2012.The RE-EXAM is due to leak of question paper before the day of exam.Many questions arises in the minds of  the students about the RE-EXAM that if they want to conduct the RE-EXAM why they dont conducted before hand itself why it is dated so late.

ANNA UNIVERSITY MAY/JUNE 2012 RESULTS for the semesters 2,4,6,8(arrear) is getting delayed 

actually it was said RESULTS FOR 4,6,8 (ARREAR) will be released on JULY 20 but due to the EDC RE 

EXAM confusion ANNA UNIVERSITY HAS POSTPONED.As of now there is no official confirmation 

from the UNIVERSITY. Again some dates started to revolve in websites as JULY 27,28,29. It is said that 

university has planned to release the results for 8th semester (Arrear) alone ASAP. To discuss on this issue 

Anna University official meeting is going to take place tommorrow (JULY 26).As 8th semester students have

SHOCKING NEWS---ONLY 8% OF IT STUDENTS FROM TN ARE CAPABLE OF GETTING A SOFTWARE JOB

        NATIONAL TELECOM MINISTRY have published a report about NATIONAL UNEMPLOYMENT in that only 8% of TAMILNADU B.TECH students are capable for working in SOFTWARE FIELD.As per the survey taken by a software consultancy in about 250 Engineering colleges with about 55k students in the year of 2011 states that students lack in English proficiency,Analytical Skill,Logical Reasoning and Program writing.

       IT companies after selecting their candidates from the college campuses will give them a training of about 3 to 6 months in their field. After this Training it has been reported only 17.3 % students was successful,46% lags in Technical skills,56 % lags in software skills are being rejected .

      Bihar and Jharkand stands 1st and 2nd with 40% and 35% of succeeded students respectively.With 525 Engineering Colleges,TAMILNADU stands at 16 i.e., last place with just 8%.Out of the 6 Metros CHENNAI stands last.

      Why is this huge difference having a huge number of Engineering Colleges why cant TAMIL NADU topped the list. Simple reason Engineering students are not taught their fundamentals properly and also the main reason is the LECTURERS incapability many colleges in TAMILNADU appoints the FRESH M.E/B.E students as their TEACHING STAFFS which forms a huge issue in this LAGGING.
